BPT, empowering you to manage your own fitness to make the long term changes that will help you increase and sustain your health and fitness levels.
After the initial one to one assessment, Helen will work with you to develop a personalised pro-gramme looking at the body as an integrated system, taking into consideration all of your previous health and fitness history and monitoring changes moving forward.
She uses established methods to balance the body and provide the foundations to underpin your biomechanics encompassing both inner and external health and fitness.
Whatever your goal or age; whether you want to regain fitness, improve your health, start an exercise plan, rehabilitate, bridge the gap post injury to get back to your pre injury fitness, achieve mind/body balance to cope with general life and wellbeing through exercise or train for a challenge, a programme can be designed for you.
Helen will draw up an optimum plan based on your objectives, your body mechanics and your fitness. This can also include a more detailed nutrition profile, based on your food diary assessment.
I first came to see Helen after breaking my ankle back in 2015. She not only helped me enormously with the rehab, but she also worked to identify the likely causes which had made me more vulnerable to this injury. Since recovering, I have taken up ballroom and latin dancing very seriously including competing. I have never danced before and Helen has worked with me on strength and flexibility in order to be able to not only make much greater progress with dancing, but also to remain injury free.
She takes a highly personalised approach to each person’s needs and works extremely hard to make sure that the exercise programme supports what you are aiming to do. She has definitely brought out the best in me and I find I am stronger and more flexible as a result. She makes you work hard in a way where you don’t quite realise it and she does all this with a fabulous sense of humour. I would recommend her very highly.

Just over 2 years ago I decided I needed to get back into fitness. I had already heard of Stones Outdoors and contacted Helen, I signed up for one-to-one sessions over the summer. Â Helen took me back to basics, she assessed how my body moved and gave me a set of very easy exercises to do until I saw her the following week. Â Over the summer Helen helped me understand where my weaknesses were and we progressed the exercises culminating into a program of exercises I could do myself. Her knowledge of how the body works and nutrition advice were brilliant (the massages are worth a try as well!). Â I then joined Helen’s outdoor 1 hour session on Chorleywood Common, being outdoors (whatever the weather, snow, rain and sunshine!) is very uplifting. Â I love the outdoors and these sessions on the Common are uplifting. Â If you are already training or want to start from scratch I couldn’t recommend Helen more.
